Naturalists in Training

Monday, July 18 - Friday, July 22, 2022 | 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Sold Out
Age/Grade:
  • Entering 6th - 8th Grade

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be the teacher, not the student? Campers will get a behind the scenes look at how to be an environmental educator at a nature center. They will learn the basics of reptile handling and interpretation, plant and animal identification, canoeing, and public speaking. They will get to talk to professionals in the career and learn how to become a professional naturalist themselves in the future. After a week of guided hikes, games, and activities, campers will get to lead their own interpretive nature activity for their friends and family on a Friday guided hike!

Members $195 | Non-Members $230

As of June 1st, we are no longer adding campers to wait lists. Any open camps after this date will be reflected on our camp calendar and on main camp page, to be registered for on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Registration information can be found on our main camp page.
