Become a budding raptor biologist through this camp that focuses on raptor research methods and current conservation issues. We’ll explore how scientists study birds through various trapping methods that allow us to study the birds up close. We’ll learn how they track birds through things like banding, satellite telemetry, and GPS, and how keeping tabs on important behaviors like migration helps us learn about how we can better conserve these species. We’ll design and conduct our own field research, build kestrel nest boxes, learn about raptor ecology with our live ambassador birds, and more!
