Fossils are like stories; they tell us about a time long ago. In this camp, we will explore ancient words by exploring the traces they left behind. We will search for “living fossils”, plants and insects still around from ancient times and explore the remains of the Silurian Sea though fossils found on the shore of Lake Michigan.

These camps are designed specifically to extend the learning, sense of community, and hiking skills developed during a school year at Nature Preschool. Each camp features extended hikes, cooperative play, themed hands-on activities, and fun! Children must be a current or former Schlitz Audubon Nature Preschool student.
